GIVE-A-WAY!

I'm so excited to be hosting my first give-a-way!  While this is not an educational item, it certainly facilitates the PLAY factor in my house, so I thought you all would love it too.

A few weeks ago, I found and purchased a terrific solution to screen off my back door called "Bug Off Instant Screen" and blogged about it. The manufacturer read it and offered to give a screen away to one of my lucky readers!  Since we really love ours, I'm sure this will be a great fit for many other families!

FEATURES
The screen is a high-quality mesh, there are two panels that close together with magnets to enable hands-free use. It opens easily and snaps closed behind you. There are weights in the bottom to prevent it from blowing all around, even in my windy area. It hangs from a tension rod in your door frame and leaves no marks or damage if you remove it. The price - terrific! When I purchased mine, I received it quickly and put it up in 3 minutes!
We love ours. I have my back door open almost all day. The fresh air and breeze is so wonderful. Turbo is able to play outside and easily come in/out without letting in all the flies!! My sanity is preserved by not having to even once say "close the screen door" and there's no cringing waiting for the slam either. We really like the Bug Off Instant Screen!!!!

There are many great benefits of the BUG OFF INSTANT SCREEN and they're all detailed on the website, however, I'll list my favorite here ~
**NO flies or other bugs in my house
**NO yelling - close the screen door
**NO damages - by either kids running into a screen or to your door frame
**NO slamming/banging - when it closes
**NO pinched fingers
**NO high costs
** For you dog owners, this is a terrific option for a pet door!

~~ WIN IT ~~ One lucky reader will win a standard single door screen in 30", 32" or 36" width in either of their standard height options.  (This give-away is not for the larger widths, french or sliding door screens.  If you have questions about the product or the item for the giveaway, just ask!)

Required Entry:  Leave a comment telling me your favorite feature of the Bug Off Instant Screen.

** If you blog about this give-a-way, give yourself two extra entries.

Susan, I am so envious. I can relate to the annoyance and challenge of keeping those pesky flies out of the house during the warmer months. I can't wait to get a bug off instant screen for my home.

I definitely think that it would be awesome to not hear the sound of the screen door slamming. Or having to remind my kids!

Hey neighbor, I have a door just like yours and currently don't have a screen. This sounds great!

The Bug Off screen is a smart screen! But how does it attach to the door frame?

Just watched the video. So cool how I don't have to worry about little one's fingers.

Susan, thanks so much for sharing, this screen seems like the answer to our prayers (ok, sounds a little over the top) but we have not yet replaced our totally broken & bent screen door and now we have the answer I have been looking for! The video is great but I have yet to figure out how it's installed since there's no hardware it seems or maybe hardware but no tools necessary?

Ok, I just saw the posting about the rod so that's probably easy enough for me to do! Ok, I subscribe to you and watched the video...count me in!

The bug off screen sounds like a great concept! Before kids we bought one of those hide away screens that are pretty expensive after a kid ran through our other standard screen and broke it. The hide away screen looks great and works well for adults, but my toddler, and other older kids don't know how to use it. So now my screen is always open and our house is full of flies. The thing I think I would like most about the bug off screen is that it is kid friendly. I would also like it for my husband who always forgets to close doors!

For another entry, I follow your blog. Where else would I get creative ideas for activities for my little girl!

I watched the video! Looks like a great product!

LOL - Yep, I hear you're a coupon king.

It attaches at the top with a rod, so no installation or tools required. It attaches to the door frame on the sides with sticky-back velcro. There's velcro on the side of the screen and that sticks to the piece you stick on your door frame and it stays in place. It's really a great concept.

My hubby and I have always had issues agreeing on a screen door. When I saw your blog about it the other day I told him that I wanted one by the summer if possible!

Watched the video too! :)

And now I follow :D

oh WOW!!! I need this! With 5 kids and 4 dogs We go through screen doors like snacks here! Looking at this it would solve multiple problems!
I think one of the biggest selling points for me would be PETS! You can't yell at the dog to shut the door! There would be no jumping at the door! Oh i am excited!

Just watched video! Most excited about no bugs! My husband is my exterminator and has killed about 10 bugs in the past 2 days, plus my sweet kitty brought us a little birdie! It would be awesome also if I ran into it, I wouldnt fall on my booty in front of a bunch of guests with a plate of cookies in my hand. Ha!
