Open Ended Art - Egg Shell Mosaic

We had our friend Crash over again today. We're having so much fun participating in Open Ended Art! I never, ever, ever would have thought to do this. What an inexpensive and super fun art. Anything with glue is a hit with my son!  Head over to Growing and Learning by Leaps and Bounds for the Open Ended Art October schedule and to see what others are doing with eggshells!

They continue to impress and surprise me with their different approaches to the same materials.

Crash carefully placed an individual egg shell, then covered it in glue. He repeated this for each shell on his paper. He really is getting into the glue squeezing! I think it's going to look very neat after the glue dries clear.  I love how he spread them out around his paper. Last week he piled up the beans. It's neat to see his different techniques.

Turbo put glue down then placed a few egg shells at a time, did a bit more glue and shells. He covered his paper and it was lovely!  When I went to move it, we realized he hadn't put a lot of glue down, so most of the shells fell off.  Still he was very proud of his art!
